Late last century (Aug 1988 to be exact), a young London PUC team called Marino's decided to enter a tournament in St.Marys. Having never played a tournament before and expecting a low bar of success, we went in as Pond Scum. No we didn't do very well. Yes we had a great time, culminating the Saturday night at The Creamery. Tequila challenges, some embarrassing underwear and backyard pool hopping come to mind.

When 1989 rolled around, we decided to play tournaments regularly during the summer. As the years went on we got better (in 1993 we thought we were worthy of stats and they have been recorded ever since). We competed in countless Provincial & National Championships, taking us to BC, Quebec, New Brunswick and Newfoundland. The pinnacle of success came in 2018 (our 30th anniversary) when we became Ontario and Canadian Champs.

Today the team is made up of players ranging from 30's to 60's, sons and nephews of some current and original players. In August 2028 the team will be celebrating 40 years of baseball!
